Note: You may see your offer of admission on MyFile but notice it does not yet appear on your OUAC account. Kindly wait 1-2 business days and check back, to allow for a short processing delay.

Log in to to view the status of your application and to accept your offer of admission to 黑料福利网.
Once logged in, click 'Application Status' on the left menu bar. The next screen will display all programs you have applied to at York. As a reminder, you may only accept an offer of admission to one program/university. For programs with a decision of 'Admitted', you may click 鈥楢ccept/Decline Offer鈥 in the Next Steps column:
If you applied to 黑料福利网 through the Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC), you will be prompted to use your OUAC reference number to and accept your offer. Once you鈥檝e submitted your response you will receive a confirmation number from OUAC. If you need assistance, contact undergradsup@ouac.on.ca.
Note: Your acceptance of your offer on the OUAC site will take a few days to be reflected on MyFile. Continue to refer to MyFile to confirm the status of your offer, apply to residence and more.

A deferral is a postponement of your admission. As a newly admitted first-year student you may request a deferral. We grant deferrals only in very exceptional cases and on a restricted basis.
Accessibility Services
York provides comprehensive support for students with temporary or permanent disabilities through . These services include development of an academic accommodation plan, referral to campus and community supports and specialized programming for students with physical, sensory, medical, learning or mental health disabilities.
Pay Your Deposit
After you have accepted an offer of admission to York, you are required to pay a deposit. This non-refundable deposit will be applied to your tuition fees: it is not an additional fee.
Domestic Students
A $300 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of your course enrolment. Students who do not pay their deposit by the deadline will be de-enrolled from courses. The deposit will be applied to your tuition and is not an additional fee.
International Students
After accepting your offer:
International students who receive a study permit refusal can receive a full refund of their deposit. For details, .
Apply for a Study Permit
If you are an international student joining us from another country, you will need to apply for a study permit before you arrive in Canada. For details on whether you require a study permit and how to apply, visit
If you are applying for a study permit, once your acceptance deposit has been received you will be issued a provincial attestation letter that can be accessed from your MyFile account. You must use this in addition to your Visa Letter to apply for your study permit.
If you are an international student who is already studying in Canada with a valid study permit, you will not require a provincial attestation letter. Please ensure you no later than 30 days before it expires.
Access Your Admission Letters
The following letters will be available to you via York鈥檚 applicant portal Letters will not be mailed to you. They are available electronically for your download.
1. Your formal offer letter or鈥疍ecision Letter鈥
This letter contains the full details and conditions of your offer of admission to 黑料福利网. It is available on shortly after you are admitted.
2. Your鈥疉cceptance/Visa Letter
This letter is addressed to "the Embassy of Canada or Immigration Officer." It is available on MyFile at the same time as your Decision Letter. You will need to this letter to apply for a study permit.
3. Your Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL)
Recently, the Government of Canada that international students will be required to submit an attestation letter as part of their study permit application. Your provincial attestation letter (PAL) will be issued following receipt of your $1500 acceptance deposit. You will be notified by email when your PAL is available in .
You will need to provide both your Acceptance/Visa Letter and your Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) to apply for your study permit.
No additional Decision Letter or Acceptance/Visa Letter will be issued after you clear the conditions of your admission. The documents in the Admission Letters tab should be considered the final versions.
The timing of the availability of your PAL will vary, depending on when your $1500 non-refundable acceptance deposit is received and when the Ministry approves your PAL.

Apply for Residence
First-year, full-time students coming from high school are guaranteed a space in residence for the next fall if they apply for residence by their respective housing application deadlines.
The housing application will become available via the page.
Fall (September) Entry:
- If you are an Ontario high school student, you are guaranteed a residence assignment for Fall 2025 if you apply for housing by June 2, 2025.
- If you are a high school student from out-of-province, you are guaranteed a residence assignment for Fall 2025 if you apply for housing by May 1, 2025.
- If you are an international high school student pursuing school abroad you are guaranteed a residence assignment for 4 years, if you apply for housing by May 1, 2025, as long as you accept your admission by the deadline in your offer of admission. Please note the 4-year housing guarantee is available for international students admitted to Fall 2025 only and cannot be deferred to a future term.
- If you are 28 years of age or older you are eligible to apply for apartment housing. .
- Offers of residence for the Fall term begin late Spring.
- Kindly note that a guaranteed residence assignment does not guarantee a specific room type. (eg. single vs double; suite style).
Winter (January) Entry:
- Residence may be available for the Winter term. Students starting their first year at York in Winter will receive housing information by email in November/December.

Prepare to Enrol
Reminder: If you are an international student, you will need to prior to your enrolment date and time to ensure your enrolment is unblocked.
After you have accepted your offer of admission, and depending on your program of choice, you may be required to book an enrolment/course selection appointment OR instructed to complete your enrolment/course selection online at a later time.
To see whether you have any enrolment-related instructions at present, you will visit MyFile and read your instructions carefully.
For all new undergraduate students at York, participation in enrolment/course selection support means you will:
- Get help picking your courses and planning your academic schedule.
- Find out what transfer credit you鈥檙e eligible for.
- Learn how to enrol in courses.
- Find out how and when to pay your tuition fees.
If you see 鈥淏ook/Manage鈥 in the Advising column next to your program name, you are required to book an enrolment appointment with your Faculty in order to enrol. Click the link provided there and follow the instructions.

York Courses Website
The York Courses website is designed to provide a central location where information can be obtained on thousands of courses that are being taught and have been taught in the past at 黑料福利网.
Pay Your Tuition Fees
At 黑料福利网, your tuition fee is determined by the number of courses (credits) you enroll in each semester. For this reason, your tuition amount will not be finalized until you complete your course enrolment. Most students enroll in five courses per semester. Pay your enrolment deposit, residence charges, course/program fees or any other charges reflected on your student account through your via telephone or online banking.
To find out when and what you owe for your courses, check your student account. You can set up access to your student account via online or at your enrolment appointment. For more information, visit the .
Student account online statements become available online around the 18th day of each month and an email notification is sent as a reminder. You will need your Passport York ID to access your personal online student account.
Fall term tuition fees are due on September 10.
Winter term tuition fees are due on January 10.
Summer term tuition fees are due on May 10.

Maintain Your Offer
After you鈥檝e accepted your offer, you must continue to meet the conditions of your admission for your chosen program of study. All offers of admission are conditional, even once you have accepted your offer.
To maintain your offer you must:
1. Meet Your Program's Minimum Final Grade Requirements
黑料福利网 expects that your final results will be consistent with grades submitted for your admission offer. Minimum admission standards for the university are required from all curriculum/school types.
In addition to meeting grade requirements, you must meet any additional conditions mentioned in your formal offer letter on MyFile, and accept your offer of admission by the deadline in your letter.
Each academic program has specific requirements for your minimum overall final grade average, including your final grade in any prerequisite courses. Review detailed admission requirements.
2. Complete Your High School Diploma (if applicable)
If you applied to 黑料福利网 as a high school student (a direct-entry applicant), you must successfully complete your high school diploma as a condition of your admission.
3. Submit Your Final Grades by August 15
For all admitted students for Fall (September), 黑料福利网 must receive your final grades by August 15. Final grades will confirm your graduation status, and confirm that you still meet the minimum grade requirements for your program.
How to submit your grades:
- Ontario high-school students: Your final transcript is sent automatically through your high school. If you are taking summer school, correspondence or night classes, check to make sure your high school has an up-to-date record of all courses you have completed or are currently completing so that all of your final grades are sent to York.
- Out-of-province domestic students: Kindly have your school send official final transcripts to our by August 15.
- International students: must be sent to the upon completion of your current semester/term to verify that admission conditions have been met.
